DEMONFALL UNFORTUNATE UPDATE
Demonfall unfortunately did not get the numbers required for the mobile beta test, or the level of interest needed to continue pushing the PC version, and so it is with a heavy heart that the project is being cancelled.
This means Rebirth Studios is currently on ice while the team reflects and regroups. Demonfall has been an important learning experience, and getting it far enough to even run public testing was something worth being proud of, but balancing development alongside full-time work, limited growth, and the overall pressure of the project has taken the fun out of it.
The project files are being saved and backed up in case the concept is revisited in the future. As a small studio with limited funds, marketing has been one of the biggest barriers, so the plan is to step back and only return when there is more to show and a better chance of gaining real momentum.
For now, there is no active Demonfall release, and no promise of its return. We truly appreciate everyone who supported the project.
REBIRTH STUDIOS
We needed lightning in a bottle with Demonfall, and while confidence in the concept was there, it did not last. There is still another prototype in development, and we will see whether that is better suited to grabbing attention when the time is right.
Demonfall on Google Play remains free for testers, but it will not be launched to the wider public unless something dramatic changes. The Steam release has been cancelled.
We hope that one day Demonfall gets the chance to see the light again.

Rebirth Studios is a small independent studio co-founded by Daniel Maloney and Dan Brinkley, built around one simple goal: making games that feel alive—dark, atmospheric experiences with that retro punch we grew up loving. We’re the kind of team that gets obsessed with the details. How a hit lands. How the music shifts the mood. How a menu looks and feels to use. How a world sounds when it’s quiet. If something doesn’t feel right, we keep refining it until it does. Demonfall was the first major step in that journey, and while the project is now on hold, the studio’s creative drive remains. Rebirth Studios is still small, but it’s personal. Every prototype, every update, and every future release comes from a genuine love of the craft.
